06

Refund & Cancellation

All passes are strictly non-refundable once issued. Please confirm your availability, dates (August 3–7, 2026), and pass selection carefully before completing your registration.
  • No refund will be issued for any reason including, but not limited to, personal schedule conflicts, inability to attend, travel disruptions, or change of plans.
  • In the unlikely event that YANC cancels or significantly modifies the Event, registered participants will be offered a credit note or a rescheduled date. Cash refunds are at YANC's sole discretion.
  • Disqualification due to misconduct, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms will not entitle the participant to any refund.
  • For the Concept Cocoon Pass, the ₹1,000 registration fee is non-refundable regardless of shortlisting outcome. The ₹4,000 pitching fee paid by shortlisted teams is also non-refundable once submitted.
07

Transferability

All passes are non-transferable and are issued to the registered individual or team only. Passes may not be sold, gifted, or otherwise transferred to another person or entity.

  • Entry to the Event will be validated against the registered participant's name and Order ID. Presenting a pass registered under a different name will result in denial of entry without refund.
  • YANC may, at its sole discretion, approve a name transfer in exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical emergency). Such requests must be submitted in writing to connect@yanc.in at least 7 days before the Event and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
08

Pass-Specific Terms

Learning Lab Pass

  • Participants are expected to be present and engaged across all three days of the workshop to be eligible for the full range of benefits including certification and LOR consideration.
  • Partial attendance does not entitle the participant to benefits designated for full attendance.
  • Mentor access is subject to mentor availability and session scheduling, which may change without prior notice.

Concept Cocoon Pass

  • Teams must register with a complete and accurate startup profile before the stated registration deadline. Incomplete profiles will not be considered for slot confirmation.
  • A minimum of 2 team members must be physically present on the competition day. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification without refund.
  • Shortlisting is at the sole discretion of the YANC selection committee and is not subject to appeal.
  • Funding opportunities are subject to investor interest and are not guaranteed. Teams receiving assured funding must complete YANC membership formalities to access the funding.
  • Ideas and startup concepts shared during the pitch are done so at the participant's own risk. YANC does not assume responsibility for idea confidentiality in a public pitch setting.

Networking Gala Pass

  • Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis subject to available seating. Pre-registration does not guarantee physical seating if capacity is reached prior to your arrival.
  • The Networking Gala Pass grants access to the evening event only. It does not include access to the Learning Lab workshops or the Concept Cocoon pitch competition.

All Access Pass

  • The All Access Pass is limited to 100 participants and is subject to a more detailed application review process. YANC reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet its curation criteria.
  • All Access holders are expected to participate in good faith across all five days. Habitual absence from sessions may result in forfeiture of performance-based benefits.
  • Funding opportunities under the All Access Pass are merit-based and subject to the same conditions as the Concept Cocoon Pass where applicable.
09

Performance-Based Benefits

Important: LOR issuance, internship placements, mentorship access, funding opportunities, and awards are performance-based and merit-contingent. They are not guaranteed to all participants — they are earned through demonstrated performance and panel selection at the Event.
  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR) issuance is at the sole discretion of YANC and relevant industry leaders. The receipt of a pass does not create any obligation for YANC or any mentor/dignitary to issue a LOR.
  • Internship placements are subject to the requirements and hiring decisions of participating organisations. YANC facilitates introductions but does not guarantee placement outcomes.
  • Startup funding opportunities are subject to investor interest, due diligence, and YANC membership requirements. Registration fees do not form part of any funding amount.
  • The assessment criteria for performance-based benefits are determined by YANC and panel judges whose decisions are final and binding.
10
